Its A Boy!! Logan came along on the 7th of March, and things sure are different around here now! Well worth it though. Just think, my very own Padawan Learner :)

I must apologize for the non-working drop down menus in the navbar. It seems my budget host (free) won't allow more than one click through the drop down menus, before sending you to their hosting service page. I am hoping to work out a deal for expanded service for the Expanded Universe as soon as possible. If any of you could help me in this regard....it would be much appreciated.

I know I have been lacking in updates, but with the brief summer up here in Hoth, i really have to enjoy it. I just thought I would take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal supporters who stop in whenever they get a chance to. The hard work has paid off, and you all make it worthwhile. On this note I am pleased to announce that the Expanded Universe is the #1 EU site on the 'net, according to Google search. Again, thanks for all of your ongoing support.

So what is the verdict folks? was the Attack of the Clones worthy? I believe it so. No I can finally get down to reading the novelization as well. Hope to have that one complete soon, if I have time. I am taking an online Flash course, so be prepared for more site changes here in the future.

Got to love having good friends who are passionate about the same things we are here in the Expanded Universe. Senna, my fellow long lost Ryn, writes in to give us some more of her stellar work. She has written a review of "The Approaching Storm" which she has agreed to post here, done a beautiful Qui - Gon Jinn wallpaper (in three common resolutions - 1024x768,
800x600 & 640x480) and promises to have new fanart soon. I have seen the preliminary and it will be great when it is complete!

Zizziana Nightstar writes in to tell us that her fan fiction series "The Tales of Alikka Nerden" is now one year old. Head over to "Delusions of Grandeur' and read this epic tale. Well worth it!

Done a pile of work lately! Finished making an AOTC screensaver, tried to post it here, but it seems I can't upload .zip files :( If any one is interested in it, email me and i will get it set up for you. Just about finished "The Crystal Star," should have the review done later this week.

Finished ANOTHER review. Read Dark Journey here. Going to work on some new wp's and I downloaded an ultracool screen saver building program - does an AOTC screen saver interest you folks? E-mail me and give some ideas as to what you would like to see on it.

Really rolling now, aren't I? :) Another review complete. Read the review of "Shadows of the Empire" here. Read "Dark Journey," have it up soon. Getting "The Approaching Storm." Very excited about that one. Set immediately prior to AOTC, and contains a couple spoilers apparently. Just think, LESS THAN TWO MONTHS REMAINING!!!

Sorry about the lack of updates, friends. As many of you know, my wife and I are expecting our first padawan anyday now, so I have been kind of tied up around the house in preparation for the momentous occasion. I truly apologize for not keeping up. Well on to other things - namely Star Wars related :)

I have managed to read a few more books, and will have the reviews up ASAP, bare with me please.

Well today is the first official day of winter, and up here in Hoth, it finally has come. Christmas wouldn't be the same without snow, and we finally have that too.

Now on to a little bit of news. I have finished the e-book "NJO - Recovery" and will have a review done by tomorrow. And to all of you celebrating, have a wonderful Holiday season.

Finished reading X-Wing - The Bacta War, read the review. Doing a couple of things now, reading NJO - Star by Star and listening to the audio book of Tim Zahn's Dark Force Rising - seems this title is so popular, I had to take the audio version out from the library, 'cause they can't keep the book on the shelf! Oh well, I do alot of driving at work ;) can't think of a better way to lose myself in those hour long drives I have to make most days :)

25 Years of Star Wars Novelizations
December 06, 2001

The Star Wars trilogy of novelizations returns as a special 25th anniversary collector's edition. This is the first time that all three novels have been gathered in a hardcover collection. Complete and unedited, the collection includes George Lucas' Star Wars, Donald F. Glut's adaptation of The Empire Strikes Back and James Kahn's Return of the Jedi.
On the cover is early Star Wars concept art by Ralph McQuarrie. One of the first logos developed for the saga, this design depicts a prototypical version of Luke Skywalker, armed with lightsaber and determination, silhouetted by the glow of Yavin 4.

The Star Wars Trilogy: 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition is due out in July 2002 from Del Rey Books.
