Everyone has one of these so why not me? *G* Besides it is about time Scott gets to beat `em up as pay back for all my...eg, our poor boy has been put through! In other words; Do you wanna know the truth about Scott’s strengths and weaknesses? Based on over 300 comics here is my take on the X-men’s true powers!
Scale goes from 1 till 10 where 1 is the lowest and 10 is the best. (12 is super high. Hank is 12 in Intelligence)
Scott VS Logan
Let the game begin!
Scott
Hand to hand combat: 8
Reason:
Black belt in Judo, intensive hand to hand combat trained
Far away attack: 10
Reason:
Scott’s eye beams can be shoot from afar
Intelligence: 10
Reason:
One of Scott’s mutant abilities is his fantastic ability in mathematics, logic and the likes.
Cunning: 9
Reason:
Scott always thinks before he acts and has learned cunning and scheming the hard way; on the streets.
Scheming: 9
Reason:
Same as above
Raw Power: 10
Reason:
Scott’s powers are NOT naturally limited
Brutal Force: 6
Reason:
Scott CAN use force but prefers to use mind over force
Special abilities:
Scott has limited abilities to get visions of the future, his fantastic abilities in mathematics, logic and the likes, trained leader and strategic, control over his emotions
To win:
Scott just need to spot Logan first and use his eye beams and then it is buy, buy Wolvie.
Weaknesses:
Is best at a distance, needs to use that ruthlessness that Sinister gave him to take Logan out first
Logan
Hand to hand combat: 10
Reason:
Trained in many far eastern martial arts
Far away attack: 1
Reason: Logan has NO powers which can be used from afar
Intelligence: 4
Reason: Logan has world and war knowledge but that’s all
Cunning: 2
Reason: If Logan wants something he does it
Scheming: 2
Reason: Same as above
Raw Power: 9
Reason: Logan’s powers are naturally limited ( though at a very high level)
Brutal Force: 9
Reason: Logan can run a long time on anger alone
Special abilities:
His only mutant powers are healing and heightened senses so claws and metal skeleton.
To win: Logan must get close enough to use his claws.
Weaknesses: Can easily lose control and run with his instincts. Most of Logan’s powers are for defence (metal skeleton, healing abilities etc)
The Winner: If there ever was a fight…Scott would win.
Jean Grey-Summers VS Scott
Jean
Hand to hand combat 3
Reason: To my knowledge Jean has NO hand to hand training but since Scott trained with her I figured he had taught her a little.
Far away attack 10
Reason: Jean can use her powers from a great distance
Intelligence: 5
Reason: Her intelligence is a little above normal
Cunning: 3
Reason: It is not her style
Scheming: 3
Reason: Ditto
Raw Power: 10
Reason: Her powers in themselves are unlimited (but her use of them are limited as is Scott’s of cause)
Brutal Force: 2
Reason: She isn’t the kind of person to use brutal force
Special abilities: Beside her 2 mutant powers; none
To win: Needs to find Scott before he finds her and ditto for him
Weaknesses: Over confidence, could fall for a bluff
If their rapport is working Scott’ll have a huge problem but let’s play fair.
The Winner: This would be really tight. I wish I could say Scott but I can imagine Scott letting himself loose/die to avoid killing Jean. Though if Jean really wants to kill him then she probably could.
Ororo VS Scott
Ororo
Hand to hand combat 8
Reason: She was trained by Logan
Far away attack 10
Reason: She can shoot as far away from as Scott
Intelligence 7
Reason: She does not have any mutant powers in this field nor was she much in school but she is naturally gifted.
Cunning 8
Reason: She lived on she streets and learned to use her wits to get what she wanted.
Scheming: 8
Reason: The same
Raw Power: 10
Reason: Her powers are unlimited in nature
Brutal Force: 5
Reason: She can use force but doesn’t do so much.
Special abilities:
Very limited empathy and Sorceress powers
To win:
Needs to find Scott first but then she can fly so…
Weaknesses:
Can she really kill? And then a friend? But then she can fly and Scott can’t.
The Winner:
I have no idea. I doubt that either of them would ever fight like this. They both have equal chance to will, Ororo could spot Scott from above or Scott can win using his eye blasts swiftly and quickly.
Scott VS Rogue
Rogue
Hand to hand combat: 4
Reason: She was to my knowledge never trained in any fighting form but Mystique trained her.
Far away attack: 1
Reason: Her powers needs to be used up close.
Intelligence: 4
Reason: About normal
Cunning: 3
Reason: Rogue always says and does what she wants and means
Scheming: 3
Reason: The same
Raw Power: 8
Reason: Her powers almost don’t have a natural limit but it is there.
Brutal Force: 8
Reason: She often fights like that.
Special abilities:
Her only mutant ability is absorbing other mutants’ powers but now she also has flight, superstrength, invulnerable etc
To win:
Needs to get close to Scott
Weaknesses:
Her powers can be her weakness. Can Scott’s eye beams kill Rogue? They can hurt her, hurl her backwards but can they kill her?
The Winner:
Scott though it will be quite a hard fight. He has done it before and can do it again (See X-men 175 where Scott single-handedly beats all the X-men).
Remy VS Scott
Remy
Hand to hand combat: 6
Reason: Remy is intensely trained in hand to hand combat
Far away attack 6
Reason: He can shoot cards from afar but not as far away as Scott can shoot his eye beams
Intelligence: 5
Reason: He is really resourceful and his intelligence is a little above normal
Cunning 8
Reason: Like Ororo and Scott he learned it the hard way
Scheming 9
Reason: He used to con people for a living
Raw Power 8
Reason: His powers are great but still naturally limited
Brutal Force 8
Reason: That staff and his moves are often quick and brutal
Special abilities: Can he still use his powers through his eyes? And can he change ANYTHING?
To win: Needs to get close to Scott
Weaknesses: Overconfidence
The Winner: Scott. He has had more direct combat experience but it will be a hard fight
That should cover the basics. So you see Scott wouldn’t do all that bad against his fellow X-men. As I said he has beaten them all at once at least once (see X-men 175 among others).
