This story appeared in “ X-men: Unlimited 31”. I strongly suggest you buy this issue. It contains 3 stories: “Monsters” staring Rogue, “ Hindsight” staring Scott (it is the one I bring you here) and “Gold” staring Nate Grey. “Gold” is a wonderful story that would make this issue worth buying 10 times over but that story with “Hindsight” makes this issue a classic (in my eyes anyway). “Monsters” is about how Rogue deals with her past and the fact that she can’t touch anyone, “ Hindsight” is about how Scott manages when being forced to fight as a blind (and he does great!) and “Gold” is about a young Japanese woman who turns everything she touches into gold when there is oxygen present and how Nate helps her. “There is no place that won’t be a prison [for me]. I wasn’t made for this world,” Kiza, the young woman says to Nate as he neutralises her powers while flying with her over the water while the sun rises. “ No. You weren’t,” Nate replies. “Gold” is such a touching bitter sweetly story which always brings tears to my eyes. Buy this issue now is all I can say.
