This reported from the Austin American Statemans newspaper: "Get ready for Russellmania II. Oscar-wielding madman Russell Crowe is likely to be headed to Austin in August with his band 30 Odd Foot of Grunts. A source tells me Crowe reps have contacted Stubb's for availability, but club co-owner Charles Attal says nothing's confirmed yet." Thanks to loolootx on the Crowes Perch for posting this!

Updated: So what do you think of TOFOG's idea of you helping them choose a city to perform here in the USA? Well, they want your input over at Gruntland. Yes they are asking us TOFOG fans to help them decide what cities they should stop in on their first ever USA tour. So what are you waiting for? Click here to select the city of your choice.
I'm sorry to have to do this ladies and gents, but I have to pull certain videos down until I can figure out what the problem is with my host company. Until then, remember that there are older videos that I have that are still up. You can view them here.
04/30/2001
Okay, I don't want you all to crash my site anymore. Seems to be that everyone is so excited to watch these videos, that I cannot keep them up! So walk and don't run this time over to the Videos & Audios page, because I have just added the full length video of "Circus". Thanks to a fellow TOFOG lover.
04/27/2001
Updated: I have added a great new picture of Stew and his band donated by sweet Starlet (thanks girlfriend!). Check it out here.
For all those Stew Kirwan fans out there in cyberspace, emerging from the surface is a new site Stewart's Corner dedicated to the lovable TOFOG trumpet player and backing vocalist. Check it out. I have included a link to Starlet's (the web mistress) site under the LINKS page as well.
Thanks to Rae-Anne, she has informed me that Max Music (cable tv) Down Under showed a clip of the "Memorial Day" video. War footage is shown what she saw. Could this possibly be from Russell's Grandfather Stan Wemyss' WWII films that he shot? Hopefully we can get that question answered soon enough.
04/26/2001
Correction: Thanks to Quietone2, she has informed me that the 24 hour marathon radio show raising funds for the annual "Aids Hike for Life" actually aired on April 20th, and not April 27th as mentioned below. Josh the DJ liked TOFOG so much that he played an hour's worth of songs from both the Gaslight and BLOC cds. He also raised $1000, which will sponser him in the hike that he is participating this Sunday April 29th. Way to go! Sorry for the miss print y'all! See what happens when I leave for 10 days?!
Updated: Whammo.com.au has a newsletter stating that the "Memorial Day" single is due to air on OZ radio and the video is supposed to be released as of yesterday in remembrance of Australian's Anzac Day. As of yet, I have not been able to locate where anyone can actually order the single online. I will keep up posted with any updates.
Updated: Many of you might be aware that KP better known as Ms Mellon Collie on the Crowes Perch has made a proposal to TOFOG suggesting the most feasible cities they might like to tour within the USA this summer. If you'd like to view her project you can click here. You will need to go to her photo album, and within that folder contains two pictures that explains everything more in detail. I would like to inform you all that I did not work with her on this. However, I offered to post the link that holds the finished proposal. Please feel free to leave her your thoughts within the message board on her site.
I have added another article here. This one speaks about Russell's aide to the NRL sports event in OZ.
Hi everyone! I'm back from vacation. It's great seeing my family in Dallas. However, as I start getting comfortable in my surroundings, I tend to lose myself and yearn for my true home in L.A. I hope everyone had a great spring break. I have some goodies for you all. Check below.
Thanks to Mel for her generosity, you can now view the full uncut version of the video of "Things Have Got to Change" here. For those that have not seen the clips of Russ Le Roq, the Channel V interview, and the Rove Live Interview show and live performance of "Things Have Got to Change" on the show, I strongly encourage you all to view them.
I have added more pictures from the Armani Children in Crisis Charity Event here.
On April 27th New York's Hamilton College radio station will be hosting on the air a 24 hour marathon playing songs based off of donations for the annual "Aids Hike for Life" charity. Since there are so many devoted TOFOG fans out there, 6 songs will air. Read more here to learn how you can listen online! Thank you Quietone2 from the Crowe's Perch!
I have posted an older article here about TOFOG and their performance at the Armani Charity concert.
04/12/2001
Thanks to Debbie F, she has kindly donated two pictures of the August 11th and 18th 2000 setlists from Austin TX. You can view them here.
I have added an article here mentioning Russell's tv promotion for the BLOC cd. Check it out here.

I know it's 10 days late, but you are really worth the wait to officially wish you a very happy belated 32nd birthday. Our best to you Dave Kelly!
I have added a new site under the LINKS Page. I'd thought that I would share the experience that I had listening to Ilanna Sharon Mandel. She is a brilliant sultry soul singer, and I encourage everyone that comes to this site to go check hers out!
04/09/2001

I have compiled a list of various online stores that carry BLOC and or Gaslight. You can find them listed here.
03/29/2001
"What's her name" cd single UPDATE: I just received this email from info@hmv.com.au "Dear Customer, Thank you for your email. Due to a technical error, this CD was accidentally listed on our website for around 24 hours. It has, however, actually been deleted for around 2 years and is no longer available. As such, your order has been canceled for you. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regards, HMV Australia Online."
It looks as if "What's her Name" has been pulled from HMV online for now. What a shame because from what I have seen on ebay, I know that the Grunts would make a killing off of the coveted single.
Gruntland had updated their site providing us with all their lyrics and the stories behind the songs are here. You can also find the link under the LYRICS page.
03/28/2001
You can now order BLOC as an import for $19.99 from CdNow online. Virgin Megastore in Los Angeles & Burbank, CA have it on their computers under imports for $23.99, and it is best to call either store to find out when they will have it in stock again. You can also pre order at Barnes&Noble.com for $23.45, which will be released on April 3, 2001.
03/27/2001
Thanks to Frances' email, she has found out that Amazon is now selling TOFOG's BLOC cd as an import for USD$20.49.
There are two new articles from the Newcastle Herald here reviewing TOFOG's album and one from a New Zealand Newspaper (thanks again Jenn!).

03/20/2001
You can now buy Gaslight at Waterloo Records either over the phone by calling 1-512-474-2500 or going to their web site.
I have added three new articles. One is located here, and the two others are here. I do need to warn you that the latter two are not pleasant as they speak of BLOC's chart position declining after the first couple of weeks that is was released.
For those that live in Australia or know of anyone that is willing to enter you into an online contest, click here to find out how you can win some great Russell Crowe and TOFOG memorabilia.
03/15/2001
I have added three new articles here, as well some new reviews of the BLOC cd.
BLOC has slipped from the ARIA charts from #7 to #55 this week. It is still #9 on the Australiasian charts! Way to go TOFOG!
Ms. Lisa Johnson was kind enough to share her experience attending the TOFOG Viper Room gig back in January 1999. Thank you Lisa! Read here for her story.
TOFOG still sizzles in Texas! Waterloo Records has BLOC listed at number #10 on their 3/10/2001 record sales chart! Check it out here. Thanks Sue for sending this!
I have added another fan review here written by Tony Kay. Thanks!
03/11/2001
I was at the Century City Gladiator screening that Russell attended Friday 03/09/2001. He did separate Q&A's for two showings of the movie and one of the questions that was asked was when will TOFOG tour, which coincidentally was the same question as mine. He said that they are looking at doing a bus tour across the USA and up into Toronto and Calgary, Canada. He joked about TOFOG visiting Sweden. But seriously everyone, it looks like they will do some touring in Europe! In the second Q&A session that I attended, he said that a video is still in the works and that Brett Leonard is down in Australia working on the footage that was shot in Austin. TOFOG is putting together a documentary not only of the shows and recordings in Austin, but previous footage that we have not yet seen!
03/08/2001
Thanks to Mary, she sent me an email to inform all of you that Waterloo Records is also selling BLOC. If you order two cds they will include an autographed insert signed by all the band members! Call 1-512-474-2500 and ask for Rodney or Will, they handle the phone orders.
Okay Listen up people! I am not happy. I thought that there would be more people out there buying the BLOC cd. TOFOGSWORLD is asking that you spread the world to everyone you come into contact with, whether it be your friends, family, coworkers, or just people on the street. Get out there and tell them that they have to purchase one of the best rock/pop cds out there! I wrote to ARIA yesterday to find out how many cds have been sold according to their charts and this was their response: "Hello, In regards to your email, Thirty Odd Foot of Grunt has not achieved gold or platinum status which means they have sold under 35000 records. Regards, TARA THOMAS @ TThomas@ppca.com.au, aria@aria.com.au"
I have added two great articles here for your reading pleasure. Thanks Jenn!!!
Thanks to Banana from Crowesperch. She found on HMV online store there are a limited number of signed BLOC cds for just AUS$24.95 each! Get it before they disappear!
03/06/2001
Whammo.com.au is also selling TOFOG goodies. Check them out for more info on the hottest export that OZ has to offer!
03/05/2001
I have added 6 Phat Photos of TOFOG in Italy. Thank you Tina again and again!
Congratulations to TOFOG! I emailed Sanity Online Music to find out how many BLOC cds they actually sold and this was their response: "Hi there JJ, I'm bound by confidentiality agreements but I will say that the pre orders for the album were astonishing numbers and the sales for release week out of control! It has also debut at number 7 on the Australian National ARIA charts this week and number one album on the Australasia charts. Hope this helps. Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact myself. Kind Regards, Monica Markis Customer Service Officer Indulge The Experience @ www.sanity.com.au."
All the BLOC songs samples are on Sanity. Have a listen!
I have added 3 more BLOC reviews here.
03/03/2001
All the videos and audios have been restored. You can view them here.
I have added 5 new articles for your reading pleasure here, and great new pictures on a new page called TOFOG in Italy. Thanks Tina for sending these to me to share with all the Tofoggers!
Please forgive me everyone. I have been utterly busy with school. I realized after a couple of you emailing me about angelfire taking down 4 of the video and audio files, I have hopefully found a website that will allow these to be stored that won't give me any trouble. Thanks again for your patience while this all is being resolved.
02/28/2001
I have added a few new articles regarding the benefit concert here.
02/27/2001
Two more pics added to the Various Photos page from the Children in Crisis Benefit.
Two lucky Italian fans were able to speak to TOFOG after watching them live at the Children in Crisis Italy benefit concert 02/26/2001. TOFOG said that they were going to do a show this August 11, 2001 in Austin! Start saving your money folks!
I have added a new Just Russ Phat Photos page. Some of the best pictures that you will ever lay your eyes on!
I have added an exclusive interview from FOX 101.9FM Radio in OZ that Russell did to promote BLOC that aired I believe on 02/27/2001. Beware it's over 14 minutes long. Clear here to listen.
02/26/2001

There is a blurb on the Sanremo Festival site in Italian speaking of their upcoming 2 song performance Feb 27th, which has been translated here. We will try and obtain a copy of the show and add to the site as soon as we can.
The Rolling Stone (the city, not the magazine) Milan concert at the Ariston theater that TOFOG is scheduled to attend by invite only, is on for today hosted by Georgio Armani to benefit those that were victims of India's devastating earthquake last month.

Waterloo Records based in Austin TX will be stocking up on Bastard Life or Clarity. You can contact them via their website or phone at (512) 474-2500. There was blurb in the Statesman newspaper in Austin regarding it. You can read it here. Thanks Sue!!!
02/22/2001
To our surprise Crowemates has taken their site down at this time. I have considered it as a site sister with mine for the past couple of months. This is a loss for all TOFOG and Russell Crowe fans alike and we will all miss Ina's site. She has worked incredibly hard to satiate our hunger for all that we craved, and I will personally grieve the loss, along with the thousands that have visited it since it was published back in August 2000, of the best Russell Crowe fan site on the web. We will all miss you Ina!
02/21/2001
I 'm sorry to say that the concert in Milan is by invite only do to a fundraiser. But there is still the chance of fans seeing TOFOG play at the Sanremo Festival on February 27!
02/20/2001

02/18/2001
Scraped this from the Italian "Il Messaggero" article Friday 16 February 2001 where Russell had been asked, "Is it true that you have been invited for Sanremo as guest?" Russell replying "True, but I didn't answer yet. I would like very much to perform on the stage of Sanremo [Film Festival] with my band, the Thirty Odd Foot of Grunts. We just recorded a new cd, Bastard life or clarity. I have to get organized with my appointments, if I will be able to free myself I'll be there and I will also perform in Milan."
02/17/2001

Want to win a free signed cd of BLOC from the band? Tell Ninemsn.com in 25 words or less why you feel that you are the right person to win the cd. Sorry, only Australian residents. (Kinda sucks for the rest of us, eh?)
