Vampires of the CyberWorld
Please understand that this page is based on observations of those figures who are prominent in the vampire community. Many of the thoughts here are opinions not fact, and should be taken that way. Please also understand that if you are one of those listed on this page, and do not agree with what was observed about you, that you have every opportunity to send us accurate information.
This page is placed here for those searching for information to have the opportunity to contact those who might be able to help them.
This page will be constantly updated with information. If you would like to send an article in on a person who is active in the community, please feel free to do so by clicking on the email link in the table.
**NOTE** Click on the name to visit their respective sites.
The following is a list of some of the more notable vampires on the internet, those that have left their mark on our world, or have been members of the community for some time.
Sanguinarius- Sanguinarius is one of the most notable figures in the online vampire community, and believe me, this lady gets around! She strives for the “Unity of Community”, and goes out of her way to develop interactive tools for the vampire community in general. Her site is a vast resource of all kinds of information, her message boards are full and busy, her research complete. She is highly opinionated and writes plenty of rants of her opinions. This woman is very hard to contact by email as she apparently stays swamped, however, she is a regular at many boards across the internet, and ironically, that is probably the easiest way to contact her. She is a no bullshit, no frills kind of person.
Sarasvati- Sarasvati has been around for some time on the internet, and those who contact her will find her friendly and accommodating, for the most part. She seems to have some grievances towards role players, as many do, and doesn’t waste her time with them. Her site is without doubt geared towards true vampirism, as she sees it. Her site is full of information, and one could stay there for hours just sifting through the contents. She doesn’t seem to get around the cyber world as much as she used to, but that doesn’t mean that she is gone.
SphynxCat-
SphynxCat is a rather unique cat, in that she is very intelligent, but
easily angered. Her tempers run hot
when she is crossed, and even at times when she is disagreed with.
However, she goes out of her way to provide the most information she can
for the Vampire Community in general, and she has some of the most COMPLETE
links pages on the net. Those that know her like her, and those that don’t
like her, usually have had some sort of beef with her. A
Quote from the Lady herself- "I *try* not to
be easily angered....except for trolls
Tattunigma- Tattunigma is one of the few males who have made their mark on the vampire world online and is most noted for his writing, and currently runs his own publishing site for dark fiction. However he did at one time run a vampire site for several years and his site at that time was one of the most complete sites on the net. He seems to be a talented writer, poet, artist, and is highly knowledgeable about the vampire life as well as most pagan faiths. To some he is arrogant, egotistical, and his words are extremely blunt, no beating around the bush with this guy! To those that know him, they either love him or hate him, but it seems that all respect him. He can be reached by email although it is usually some time in replying. He is a moderator for a couple of the more notable boards on the net, and this guy gets around! His presence has been noted on many vampire sites across the net especially message boards where he is always inclined to pop in and argue his points. Tatt remains one of the most knowledgeable, mysterious figures in the VC. Talk to this guy if you get a chance and you’ll see what I mean.
Memory and Dream- Memory is another one of those enigmatic, yet highly vocal individuals in the VC that seems to have a good following. Her site is huge and full of many opinionated essays on vampirism, many of which smack of the truth, and many that are debatable, however, this woman even through much personal troubles in her real life continues to be a driving force in the VC, and she likes to get around to other boards when she can. She is famous for her rants and her diaries, and for some reason, her own board has been flooded at times with aggressive individuals who just seem to want to argue. For whatever reason, she attracts them. To those that know her, she is friendly, accommodating, and sincere.
Aneria Romana- Aneria is one of those people who are very guarded, very suspicious of people, and prefers to research things before making any kind of a determination. She is more in tune to the energy vampire than the blood vampire, and her site is chock full of information for the psi-vamp. She has at least 2 message boards that I know of, and both seem to be busy. She makes it a point to stress that her views may not necessarily be your views, but her articles are highly intelligent and easy to read. Those with questions of energy vampirism would be hard pressed to find anyone that could answer you questions as well as she could.
Sapphire, or, as she is sometimes known, The Gatekeeper- Sapphire concentrates on the Midwestern US vampires, and she has gone to great lengths to make their lives as easy as possible. Her site is highly interactive, very well done, and intelligently worded. Sapphire is among those who host a Vampire Ball each year, or a gathering if you will, mostly attended by members of her board, and Claudia’s Dollhouse, where she spends most of her time. Sapphire is extremely active in the community in general and she can be seen frequently at other boards, and usually in some kind of vampire community attempt. This woman is great to talk to, try it, I bet you like her as much as everyone else. She is friendly, and for the most courteous.
The Vampire Dagon- Dagon is another one of those rare males that have made an impact on the vampire community. Which is kind of a mystery in itself since he doesn’t get around much anymore, and when he did, his comments were very brief. For all intents and purposes, this man is a mystery. He seems to be highly creative, as his site will testify, artistic, and poetic. Check out his site for a real treat.
Father Sebastion Todd- Here’s a doozy. Father Sebastian seems to be a tireless soul, who originally popped into cyberworld as a fangsmith, Sabertooth Fangs was his creation. However since then, his role has expanded. He is the founder of the Sanguinarium, founder of Vampyre Magazine, and has generated an almost cult-like following. The Sanguinarium site is interesting, has some good links, a message board, and information on the Sanguinarium and its purposes, rules, and charter. It should be noted, that this man is also an elder in the Vampire Church.
Dunya- Dunya has been around the net for some time, and frequents quite a few boards. She is easy going, likeable, and accommodating. Her site Vampire Seeker has been around for years, and she has some pretty good content. You can find her occasionally on Claudia’s Dollhouse, Pathway, and of course on her own board.
Vyrdolak- Vyrdolak is another one of those vampires who readily admit that her site contains her own personal views, based on a lifetime of study and research. The site is very well done, easily manageable, and chock full of good information. Vyrdolak is known as a highly opinionated person, can be argumentative at times, and seems to keep to herself most of the time, dedicating her time to research. She can be found from time to time on various boards, no doubt voicing opinions.
Damien Daville- After being told repeatedly how little we know of this man, and that we should not post inaccurate information, even if it is the observed opinion of the original writer, all we here at the Legacy can say for sure is that we think he is the founder of the Vampire Church. We suggest that if you have any desire to know more about him, you click on his name and visit the Vampire Church website.
Orb- Orb is one of those highly likeable people that only come around once in a while. She is highly intelligent, artistic, and tends to reply to posts with very lengthy replies. She makes it a point to get her point across the first time. Unlike many of the other vampires, Orb trips along the lighter side, her site is highly colored, bright and cheerful. A refreshing change of pace. Talk to her, I bet you’ll enjoy your conversation.
Afflictiun- Afflictiun seems to be a friendly person, and has deep roots in poetry and writing. She does excellent graphic work as her site will show. She is a regular in many chats and always has something nice to say. She believes vampirism to be an altered state of genetics, but not a disease. She also seems to believe in reincarnation, possibly as an explanation of vampirism, and the legends of immortality.
Saladin- Saladin is a fairly new figure in the VC, a person who is as uncomfortable with his vampirism, as he seems to be with wannabes, or even at times those asking questions. He is a guitarist and music lover and is apparently a big fan of Poe and Lovecraft. He does seem to have an open mind though, and a desire to not only fit in in the VC, but improve upon it, with his creation of the Vampire Support Page for Vampires in Australia.
Alazia- Amethyst is normally a loner, doesn't say much, sees normal people as mundane, boring even. Does get around the net a bit, and can be seen posting as either Amethyst or Jess. She seems to be very polite, and has deep interests in the occult.
LadyChrys- LadyChrys is a very different sort. She is far from the dark dreary gothic types you so expect to see the majority of the time. She seems to be very happy and likable, and maybe a little on the ultra witty side. Visit her website, you'll see what I mean. She goes into things other than vampires and it is all tastefully done. She is a psi-vamp and a pagan and sees vampirism as a spritiuality. Talk to her sometime, she is very open about it.
Narradas- Narrada is a very active member of the community, and can be seen most of the time on various boards. He is a moderator for Sanguinarius and is very bright and likable, however opinionated he may be. He is the founder of House Quinotar, a vampire house who believes in the heritage bloodline of Merovech. If you don't know who Merovech is, go to his site and find out, there's plenty of info there to keep you busy for a while. Narrada is also a member of House Kheperu, and several other VC endeavours.
Agamemnon- Agamemnon is if nothing else is brilliant. He has a home on the Frightscape site, where he takes email questions from others and answers them, posting both the questions and his replies on the site. His answers are always very thoughtful and unique and unlike many others on the internet, he has not changed one bit since his appearance. He claims to be centuries old as is his mate, and if for no other reason than morbid curiosity, you should check the site out, and talk to Agamemnon.
Sapphicat- Sapphicat is the first of the roleplayers to be listed here. She is a very enigmatic person, but is highly active in the vampire community. You can find her on many message boards, several roleplay sites, and in various chats. She is flamboyant and exciting, and very intelligent. She has without doubt made her presence known to the VC. I know of no site for her, but her email is in her name.
Christian Brak-Christian is one of those people that internet surfers should be very wary of. He's a liar right from the start and will do whatever is necessary to come out on top in any situation involving him. He's famous for luring females from the internet to wherever he happens to be living at the time, using them, and then discarding them when he's done. He claims big things, amongst them love, but Christian doesn't love anyone but himself, no matter what he says. I've heard him say many times, that he will walk over anyone who stands in the way of the things he wants, anyone, even his children. Christian is a true vampire, but not the kind you think. He is the most dangerous kind. A society vamp, who lives off the goodness of others because he's too worthless to do anything for himself. Stay away from this one people, he's bad news from the word hello.
Countess Bathoria- Here's a doozy, oh yeah! The Countess runs a website dedicated to the erotic side of vampirism. She is a lovely creature as her pictures can attest, and even covered in blood, she looks highly erotic. She even offers a contest on her site to become her next victim, and get your picture taken with her. Check her out for a taste of vampire erotica you will never forget.
Lady Mox- Sort of an enigma here, Lady Mox can be seen from time to time on various message boards, in a chat here and there, but she seems to be more of a loner overall. She hosts a site with a lot of graphics, mostly whitewolf stuff, but the content is huge. Graphics seems to be her specialty, so if you arein need of vampire graphics, slip in to her site and browse the huge collection.
Darkstorm- Darkstorm is an accomodating individual, full of life and vitality. Check out the main site, and while you're at it, visit the forums, I'm sure Darkstorm will make you feel right at home.
Colobrus Noir- Colobrus is admittedly a son to the House of Brak, yet he has attributes of his own as well. He can be found occasionally in the Legacy Chat, on the Crimson Serpent chat, and on MSN once in a while. He is a unique individual with a definite taste for the macabre. Checkout his site and you'll see what I mean.
Raven 0f AZ-Raven is somewhat of an enigma to us all. You just never know what he is going to do next. Currently, he is making his best attempt to service portions of the online vampire community, and portions of the online pagan community. What else can we say? Taken from his website, in his own words about himself: he is an Elm-Sanguin, birth born Vampyre, since his father was a Vampyre and also in the Army, and he has laid claim to the title of Dhampir-Mradu. According to his website, he is involved in many, many, many online organizations, and is a member of a whole lot of "HOUSES" Our suggestion...... go check out his site and see for yourself.
Michelle- This is one very fascinating woman. First off, she is the founder of House Kheperu. She came into the community at large in 1991. That's when she first began writing the Vampire Codex. From 1991 to 1996 she published a magazine entitled "ShadowDance". Author J. Gordon Melton who gives her a mention in the First Edition of his "Vampire Book: an Encyclopedia of the Undead". In 1995 she started the International Society of Vampires. This earned her the attention of journalist Jeff Guinn of the Dallas / Ft. Worth Star Telegram, who did "Something in the Blood" with Andy Greiser. She traveled to Indianapolis for an interview with him and ended up being used as an "expert" for the book . She is quoted liberally in the book and was rewarded with going on the book signing & publicity tour locally when the book came out. It is also around that time that House Kheperu came into being. Michelle considers herself a scholar. Her interests in the community lie in networking and breaking down barriers. Altogether, this is one impressive, intelligent woman, she is very pleasant and easy to get along with. We here at the Legacy are honored to carry any information on this woman at all.
Sarya Ingram- Sarya Ingram was born and raised in southern Louisiana. Following in the foot steps of her father before her, she now leads the Loyal Order of St. Germaine. Working for many years in the vampyric and occult communities both online and off, Sarya brings an honest and easy to understand explanation on topics, vampyric and occult. Easily approachable and sincere in her path. Raised in both the Cajun and Cherokee traditions, she is a life long pagan, and student of the occult, alchemy and vampyrism, taught and raised in a family which embraced such learning from an early age. In simple terms she offers answers and advice without myth or fanfare in her easy going style. She is a staunch defender of rights for all and free expression and defense against right wing oppression. Besides the dark arts and vampyrism her interest got to writing and music, she is a frequent contributor to Cthulhu Sex Magazine. She is also the owner and editor of the web zine and elists called Luna Whispers . She is a mother of 4 teenagers and the fiancee of her beloved better half as well. She is a writer and poetress and activist for the poor and for religious freedoms for all.
ROZ-
Roz runs the New Jersey Association of Real Vampires (NJARV), an
organization created to support the vampire community. His
websight is no longer updated, but is a valuable resource for anyone in
the tri-state area in search of anything vampiric or gothic. Roz
himself seems rather amiable, except for the usual impatience for those
who want to be "turned." Roz is rather busy, and your
best bet of contacting him is probably by e-mail, but it may take some
time before you get a response. |
Beverly Richardson-
Okay, here's a departure from the norm. And to sum it up, let me just
present you with this newspaper article about her dated 10/31/95 WOMAN SINKS
TEETH INTO VAMPIRE LORE
By NADINE FOWNES South Shore Bureau,Lunenburg - One would never know from her
sweet demeanor that Beverly Richardson has a dark side. After working all day as
a computer trouble-shooter, she retires to her house on a lake, checks on her
collection of 100 cactus plants and settles down for the count - Count Dracula,
that is.``I've always been interested in vampires,'' said Ms. Richardson, who
has been hooked on these creatures since her first Dracula movie, starring Bela
Lugosi, at age six.She didn't dare tell her parents then, but she was terrified
and thrilled all at the same time.``We were in the middle of a summer heat wave,
and I went to bed with a winter scarf wrapped around my neck and buried myself
under the covers. The next morning, I woke up and hadn't been bitten. I was
still alive and I haven't been frightened of vampires since.''Ms. Richardson has
become somewhat of an expert since then, reading anything about vampires she
could sink her teeth into. She has amassed a collection of 500 to 600 books on
the subject, from fiction like Bram Stoker's classic Dracula to analytical works
about vampire mythology and the 15th century's real-life Vlad The
Impaler.``People think you're a little weird, I guess. You always get those who
joke and ask you, `Do you only go out at night?''' she said. But it's just a
hobby. Anything more than that, she said, and it would be a little too
scary.``This idea of people coming back from the dead is simply myth. If
vampires did exist, I probably wouldn't be interested in reading about them. For
instance, I'm not interested in serial killers, because their existence is all
too true and there is nothing particularly enjoyable or fun about
that.''Apparently her interest is shared by many. She attends three or four
science fiction conventions every year where her lectures on vampires and
photographic tours through Transylvania are some of the most popular sessions on
the agendas. There is even a Dracula web site on the Internet where Ms.
Richardson gets together with other vampire enthusiasts to talk about books,
films and folklore. She is also on the board of the recently formed Canadian
chapter of the Transylvanian Society of Dracula. They're always on the hunt for
new victims, er, members. Those interested in the society can get in touch with
Ms. Richardson via e-mail at ssaunder@fox.nstn.ca, or by writing the chapter's
head office at Box 23240, Churchill Square P.O., St. John's, Nfld., A1B 4J9.
Story available on the Internet at www.herald.ns.ca in NewsCentre, provincial
news section.
Donchadha- Donchadha is not only a regular at the Vampire Legacy Society, but he is one of our more outspoken members. He is the current moderator of some of our forums, and is also a member of immortal.com, where he goes by the name of Nicodemus, and is considered there, as a Yabba God...if you want to know what that is, contact him yourself, or visit immortal.com
Rogue- Rogue is a valuable member of the vampire community. Aside from being a member of the Legacy Society, moderating some of our forums, Rogue is a hugely active member in the community at large. As a writer, sometimes publisher, webmaster. You can find more out about Rogue by clicking the name and visiting Rogue's Haven,a quality vampire site complete with forums and all.
MCAT666- A vampire from Sweden, who is also a member of the Legacy Society, and a valued one at that, being not just a moderator, but an actively participating member. MCAT is a student of occult studies and is the chapterhead for Bloodlines International Sweden. Click on the name to check that out, and maybe find out more about MCAT.
Bholanath- Wow, here's a curious cat, who has made a quick impact on the community with his extreme views, and quickness jumping in with both feet. He has several unique ideas, he's very opinionated, and to be honest, the first time I ever heard of him was on the Global vampire list, and he was in an argument over the rewriting of the Black Veil. Talk about making yourself known eh?? On top of that, he is the founder of several sites including, Nowhere at all, Order of theCrimson Tongues, Vampire Accountability, Vampyre and Vampire Free Speech, Vampire Underground, and Vampyres of the new Era. Check out more about Bholanath by clicking on the name.
