My Friend, My Brother

        When I was little and scraped my knee,

           He was so caring and so full, of sympathy

  When I was impatient with my youth,He was gentle with the truth.

When I was angry at life's unfairness, He gave faith and brought awareness

When I lost heart and cried defeat.He urged me into the world so wide

He was my mentor and my guide.

              When I searched for answers to life's questions,

  He was my inspiration when I had sadness which numbered two.

He shared his love with me times two.

      When I speak of one whose love it shared to measure

           He, whose gift of love, is much to treasure

of whom I speak you will discover

   He is of course, my friend, my brother.

              When Tommorrow Starts Without Me

 When tomorrow starts without me,and I'm not there to see;

If the sun should rise and find your eyes,all filled with tears for me;

     I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did         today,while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.

      I know how much you love me,as much as I love you,and each time you think of me
   I know you'll miss me too;But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
         that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,

    She said my place was readyin heaven far above,and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.

    But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye,

f or all my life, I'd always thoughtI didn't want to die.

  I had so much to live for and so much yet to do,it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you.

  I thought of all the yesterdays,the good ones and the bad.
 I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had.

And when I thought of worldly thingsthat I'd miss come

tomorrow,

I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through Heaven's  gates,I felt so

much at home

When God looked down and smiled at me
   from His golden throne.

He said, "This is eternity and all I've promised you.
  Today for life on earth is past,but here it starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last,
       and since each day's the same day, there's no longing for the past.

You have struggled hardand now at last you're free.

So won't you take my handand share my life with me?"
So when tomorrow starts without me,don't think we're far apart,
  for every time you think of me,I'm right here in your heart.

A Million Times
              A million times we've needed you,   A million times we've cried.

           If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place No one else will ever fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone.

Part of us went with you, The day God took you home.

 

 

 

I'm Asking You Today

        Are you lonely, feeling no one is on your side

Are there things you think you need to hide
I've been waiting from the very start For you to open up your heart

I will give you back the wasted years With my hand I'll dry your tears

I will give you all that you will need Will you give your life for me

Are you hurting Will you let me have your pain

Let me wash away the guilty stain I am waiting for you to call my name

Then you will never be the same

I am the door to heaven Why would you wait another day
How could you say tomorrow When I'm asking you today

I will give you back your wasted years With my hand I'll dry your tears
You will never be alone again I'll be with you till the end

       I believe Curt's in God's loving care now,

                 I wish everyone, friends, family to cherish the wonderful times you've had.Know thathe is never gone, because he lives within your heart.

Your Guardian Angel gives love and protection to your soul and heart

your Guardian Angel is to provide you with a peacefulness

of love so that you may never feel ill or suffer

Your Guardian Angels holds the token of what you are

so that you may awaken full of peace and good health

The beatuiful soul that you are is one that is sent from God above,

with all the love from your Guardian Angel sent down from above

He is with God

        Peace be with you during this time of sorrow..

I know how it feels to lose someone so fast.

     Remember it is okay to cry, and it's okay to hurt..

              but he is with god now and he will be looking after you.

Dear God we ask you from below,
To hear this prayer and even though
You are too busy for one more
Please leave the phone at heaven's door
Open the line for all to hear
We've had a tragedy so near
To all our hearts and souls you see
So bless those who come now to Thee
And give them peace and quietness
And bless them with your tenderness
And be with all of us in grief
For we are floundering on the reef
Of hope and fear and hurt inside
God, be with us at eventide.
